Isaiah 51:7-8

“Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts: Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults. For the moth will eat them up like a garment; the worm will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever, my salvation through all generations.” NIV

Through Christ we have everlasting life. And, our time with Him will not be like our time here on earth.

There will be nothing to worry about in heaven.

And, this verse, I think, is saying that the things we worry about here … insults or slights, aren’t worth worrying over. Our bodies and the things of this world are temporary. Moths and worms will return them to dust when we no longer need them.

But, we will never stop needing the righteousness and salvation of our Holy Father.
