We won’t be disappointed

Psalm 125:1

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.  NIV

I love this verse.  I love this image.

I looked up Mount Zion this morning.  I’ve never been to Israel, and I wanted to make certain Mount Zion is still there.  It is.

I also love the verse that comes after this one: “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.” NIV

God is consistent.  God is immovable.  God is unchanging.  God is trustworthy.

If we will put our trust in God, we have nothing to worry about — we won’t be disappointed.

That’s what I’ll think about today.
