The Project

I’ve been told that the Bible contains 365 reminders not to worry.  One reminder for every day of the year.

That’s pretty powerful.

Yet, I can’t find a list of those 365 verses about worry.  In fact, some of the research I did on the Internet indicates that this may be a myth … there might not be 365 reminders.

Either way, my life would be a lot better if I didn’t worry.  My walk with God would be stronger.  I would be a more peaceful person.

What better way to seek God’s peace than to search His word on this topic?  I’ve decided to invest a little time each day in finding the peace God has for me.  I’m going to try to track down those 365 verses in my New International Version of the Bible.

I may not be successful. But, even if I don’t find all of them, I know that I will benefit from this project.

I pray that you will, too.

this is a very inspiring project! God made you “pregnant” with His word so you take it out to the world and motivate others, empower them and encourage them for a life closer to Him. Go on my friend, keep the faith and know that He will never forsake you. Thanks for this wonderful blog, i will keep checking it!

I too think that this is an amazing project. I don’t know if you will find the 365 verses but I will tell you that I am reminded daily that I, we should not worry.

  8. What a neat idea. Worry is definitely something I struggle with on a daily basis. I love that the Lord understands that and gives us constant reminders to leave it in His hands.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I just found this…I am so in awe!

  10. Greetings from Ireland

I heard that it was 365 “Fear Not”s which suggests the King James version rather than NIV? But the internet commentary only has a mere 170. We await your findings!

  11. Enjoyed looking through this, very good stuff, appreciate it.

  12. Thankyou for this wonderful project – a great idea and I, too, think it might make a great book one day! I’d buy it…
I also echo one of your responses in which a lady says that she too is learning about worrying this year! It’s something I keep returning to over and over, but God is good and despite my two-steps-forward-one-step-back, I’m learning.
Wishing you every blessing on your journey.
